In this workshop, learn about the history of piñatas and decorate mini-Piñatas.

About the workshop:

Piñatas have a rich history and are often associated with Mexico. In this workshop, participants will explore the origins and history of piñatas and learn how to decorate a 12" piñata. Participants will receive a piñata base and materials to decorate it.

Workshop led by Danny T

Danny T was raised in Puebla and New York. He has had a keen interest and talent for crafts since he was a young child. Growing up with his grandparents, he was immersed in Mexican traditions. One of his earliest memories is of the family coming together to prepare offerings for the altar to honor their departed loved ones.

Free admission. All materials are provided. Please note: Space is limited; advance registration is required. The workshop is for adults.
