About the event

Join us for a fun and interactive workshop to paint small clay sculptures and pendants. No experience is necessary.

About the workshop:

The art of clay or pottery in Mexico is a tradition that originated in pre-Hispanic times. Today, the catrinas from Michoacan and the Tree of Life from Metepec are well-known traditions. Join us for this workshop and learn more about pottery while decorating small sculptures and pendants made from Mexican clay. Take a piece of Mexico home.

This workshop is for adults only, so registration is required. Space is limited to 12 participants.

Thank you to our supporters

This workshop is part of our Imagine Mexico: Art Enrichment program, made possible by the West Harlem Development Corporation,  the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, the CUNY Mexican Studies Institute, and Creatives Rebuild New York - Artists Employment Program.

Please note that each registration is restricted to a single ticket per individual to avoid no-shows, which can lead to vacant seats that could have been utilized by others.
