About the event
After a standout performance at NYC’s SummerStage alongside legendary salsa group La Sonora Ponceña, Linda EPO is emerging as one of New York’s most exciting cross-cultural artists.
A Queens native of Haitian and Mexican heritage, Linda is a singer, pianist, and bandleader whose music bridges Afro-diasporic, Indigenous, and Latin American traditions.
Singing in Kreyòl, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and English, her performances weave together the sounds of Mexico, the Caribbean, and New York City—honoring ancestral roots while creating something vibrantly contemporary.
She has performed at institutions including the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Hudson River Museum, and Birdland, and has appeared internationally in Mexico and Europe.
Linda’s work is deeply connected to Mexico through both heritage and performance. She has appeared at El Teatro Juárez in Guanajuato and was honored at the Irapuato Jazz Festival. Her music reflects the living, evolving identity of Mexican culture within the broader Americas.
6:00 pm - Performance will begin promptly
This performance is part of the Imagine Mexico: Art Enrichment Workshop series, made possible by the West Harlem Development Corporation, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and by The Mosaic Network and Fund (MNF).
