About the event

Join us for a workshop where you can decorate ceramic tiles, drawing inspiration from the Talavera style and other Mexican traditions.

About the workshop:

The Spanish and Portuguese introduced decorated tiles to the Americas in the 16th century. In many regions of Latin America, exceptional tile traditions exist, such as Talavera in Mexico. Andrea Arroyo will lead this workshop, during which participants will decorate ceramic tiles inspired by Talavera and other traditions from Mexico.

This workshop is for all ages.
