About the event
Join us for a fun workshop and learn to decorate a handheld fan - a perfect gift for yourself or a loved one!
About the Workshop
Handheld fans have a history dating back 4000 years to Egypt while folding fans originated in 7th century Japan and were later introduced to China and India. Italy imported folding fans from the East through Venice, spreading their popularity across Europe, and they were brought to Mexico by the Spanish. Our workshop celebrates this history by incorporating Mexican cultural elements into fan decoration.
Please note that this workshop is for adults only, and space is limited to 12 participants.
