About the event
Participate in our Tile Painting workshop to embellish a ceramic tile, drawing inspiration from the Talavera style and various Mexican traditions.
About the workshop:
The Spanish introduced decorated tiles to the Americas in the 16th century. Remarkable tile traditions exist throughout Latin America, including Talavera in Mexico. Andrea Arroyo will conduct a workshop in which participants will decorate ceramic tiles inspired by Talavera and other Mexican traditions.
