About the event
Join us for our Tile Painting workshop, where you can decorate a ceramic tile and draw inspiration from the Talavera style and other Mexican traditions.
About the workshop:
The Spanish introduced decorated tiles to the Americas in the 16th century. Remarkable tile traditions exist throughout Latin America, including Talavera in Mexico. Andrea Arroyo will conduct a workshop where participants decorate ceramic tiles inspired by Talavera and other Mexican traditions.
Advance registration is required due to limited space. The workshop is exclusively for adults.
